Sainsbury’s is currently offering sim cards with very competitive prices and bundles starting from £10 to £20. For occasional users they have low cost call and text rates, as well as great value 30 day bundles for more frequent users. Please see below more Mobile deals by Sainsbury’:
- 200 minutes, unlimited texts and 250MB of data for £10 300 minutes,
- unlimited texts and 500MB of data for £15 and 800 minutes with unlimited texts and
- 1GB of data for £20
The retailer is also offering a basic price plan for infrequent users with calls at 8p per minute, texts at 4p and 25MB of data for 50p per day. Sainsbury’s SIM cards will be available in 1,000 stores. A range of handsets are also being sold in 250 stores, including the Nokia 100 handset for £12 and Samsung Galaxy Fame Android for £115. The rates are pretty competitive especially compared to Tesco Mobile and ASDA Mobile.
The cheapest package is £10, and includes 200 minutes of UK calls, unlimited texts and 250MB of data. For £15 customers get 300 minutes and 500MB of data, and for £20 they get 800 minutes and 1GB of data. Infrequent users can take advantage of a basic price plan with calls at 8p per minute, 4p per text and a data price of 50p per day (for up to 25MB). Customers will be able to top up their balance for as little as £5. The basic PAYG plan is just 8p/minute for calls and 4p each for texts. Unfortunately data is pretty expensive unless you are a very low user coming in at 50p per day up to a maximum of just 25MB. If you need to check your emails every weekday, it will set you back about a tenner a month just on data. And that won’t even give you enough allowance to download apps and music or stream video.
